<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a contact accident by laying dividedly mat switches which operate by the weight of a passenger on the periphery of a platform, and controlling so that a train can be stopped when it is judged that a passenger is in danger of coming near to and touching with the train at the time of starting or passing of the train. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of divided mat switches 301, 302,... each of which is turned ON by the weight of a passenger are laid along the side periphery of the rail road of the platform 1 of a station, and by these output signals mat switch relays 71, 72,... are excited to operate light emitters 41, 42,... which are arranged on the underside of the platform 1. On the other hand, a light receiver 6 is installed on the rear part of a train 5 being opposite to the running direction. And in such a state as the light receiver 6 is receiving a light signal, if the train speed obtained from the output of a tachometer generator 16 exceeds a critical speed, a speed detecting circuit 17 turns ON a relay 18 to light a warning lamp 27, and cut off a powering circuit, and further operates a brake circuit to stop the train.</p> |
