PURPOSE:To print on the whole surface of a sheet at a high speed, and to perform free from maintenance without displacement of colors in case of color printing and without necessity of processing, such as electrophotographing by providing a base for holding desire colors together with a driver synchronizing with a printing mechanism between a mechanism for forming characters in a predetermined printing density and a medium to be printed in the medium of predetermined size. CONSTITUTION:150,000 of thread-like wires with mold release agent each having 52mum of outer diameter and formed by rolling, etching, etc. are stood in parallel at a pitch of 63.5mum in an area corresponding to A4 size, and melted glass is so fed as to cover the wires. After the glass is solidified, the wires are removed while rotating to form a substrate 9. Then, a conductor material 11 made of Cu or the like is disposed in the spiral recess 10 of the substrate 9. A biasing magnet 16 placed on a stationary base 15 is attached to one side of a hole 12, and a stepped magnetostrictive material wire 17 is inserted from the other side. When a driving mechanism made of such material is excited by a driving frequency corresponding to 10kHz and printed through an ink ribbon on a sheet, a good high speed printing is performed. |
