The microphone (5) is fitted into a gripper (4) with jaws for gripping the sides of a strip (3) of elastic material bent into a U shape to serve as a clip(2). The ends (8,9) of the strip (3) are brought together for gripping the edge of a flat board or similar support. The gripper (4) can be reversed w.r.t. the clip (2) so that the microphone (5) may point either towards or away from the support, with adjustable tilt according to its setting on the curve of the clip. USE/ADVANTAGE - On e.g. driver's sun-visor in vehicle for hands-free mobile radiotelephony. Direction of max. sensitivity can be independent of position of clip support w.r.t. source of voice.
