发明名称 SURFACE COATED SYNCHRONIZER RING MADE OF CU ALLOY FOR CHANGE GEAR
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the synchronism of a synchronizer ring with an opposite member and the releasability from the member as well as to improve the wear resistance by coating at least the sliding surface of the ring brought into contact with the opposite member with an Ni-P alloy plating layer of a specified thickness. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizer ring for a change gear is made of a Cu alloy. At least the sliding surface of the ring brought into contact with a taper cone as an opposite member is coated with an Ni-P alloy plating layer of 1-100mum average thickness. The surface coated synchronizer ring has improved wear resistance and the sliding surface has a high coefft. of kinematic friction and a low coefft. of static friction especially during operation. Accordingly, the ring stably exhibits superior synchronism with the opposite member and superior releasability from the member from the beginning of use to the end of the service life.
