PURPOSE:To enhance both of runnability and comfortableness in riding, by independently suspending left and right rear wheels by a center shaft and a torsion coil spring through swing arms. CONSTITUTION:Swing arms 11, 12 supporting left and right rear wheels 9, 10 in a freely rotatable manner are respectively fixed to a center shaft 6 through boss members 7, 8 and held by torsion coil springs 14, 15 so as to be capable of being independently moved without being affected each other. When large load is applied, the other ends 14b, 15b of the springs 14, 15 are hooked with the long pins 11a, 12a of the swing arms 11, 12 on a spaced-apart side corresponding to the rotation of the swing arms 11, 12 at a definite angle or more and distorted. Therefore, a winding angle largely increases and elastic force becomes large and stable running can be performed. The elastic forces of the distortion coil springs 14, 15 are adjusted by changing the positions (theta deg.) of the pawl parts 13a, 13b of a stopper spacer 13 to obtain the optimum comfortableness in riding. |
