PURPOSE:To improve the whole controlling property by obtaining a speed change speed from a target speed change ratio and an actual speed change ratio in a low rotation zone while from a target rotating speed and an actual rotating speed in a high rotation zone and carrying out following control. CONSTITUTION:When a target primary pulley rotating speed NPD which is set from an actual speed change ratio (i) and a throttle opening theta by a retrieving part 41 is below a defined value, a target speed change ratio calculating part 42 calculates a target speed change ratio (is) from the NPD and a secondary pulley rotating speed NS via a control method selecting part 60 and, further, a calculating part 45 calculates a speed change speed di/at from the result and the actual speed change ratio (i), to control a duty ratio. On the other hand, in a high rotation zone above a defined value, a calculating part 63 calculates a target primary pulley rotating speed changing speed via the control method selecting part 60, and a calculating part 61 calculates a speed change speed di/dt from the result and a primary pulley rotating speed Np to carry out duty ratio control. Thereby, controllability can be improved.
