PURPOSE:To contrive an improvement in a design of an external appearance, by making a protrusion quantity downward of a filter small, in a range hood fan provided with the filter on a suction opening at the lower part of a hood. CONSTITUTION:A circular suction opening is formed on about the central part of the bottom part 2 of a food forming a flat rectangular box shape, a rectangular discharge opening 5 is formed on about the central part of the back part 4 and an exhaust port unit 6 is mounted on the back part 4 so as to surround the discharge opening 5. A filter 12 is formed so that inclination angles theta1, and theta2 ranging from 15 degrees through 30 degrees are possessed by at least a plurality of the upper and lower parts, for example, two parts, the lower and upper parts and is set so that the inclination angle theta1 at the lower part becomes larger than the inclination angle theta2 at the upper part. A protrusion quantity, therefore, from the bottom part of the hood of the filter is made controllable so as to make it from the bottom part of the hood of the filter small and an improvement in a design of an external appearance can be contrived as well. |
