PURPOSE:To obtain a templating material excellent in workability, by compounding polyethylene chloride and a specific resin with an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A sheet like templating material is formed from a composition prepared by compounding 10-70pts.wt. of a resin selected from a group consisting of an epichlorohydrin resin, a hydrogenated terpene resin and a thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin, 15-50pts.wt. of wax with m.p. of 40-65 deg.C, 5-50pts.wt. of a fine silica powder and 3-30pts.wt. of polyethylene chloride with 100pts.wt. of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer. When the compounding amount of the resins is below 10pts.wt., there is no effect and, when exceeds 70pts.wt., stretchability and developing stability are lowered. When the m.p. of wax is below 40 deg.C, a flaw such as the blocking of a product is generated and, when exceeds 65 deg.C, heating temp. at the time of working is high and deviates from a working proper range. When the compounding amount of wax is below 15pts.wt., flowability at the time of stretching under heating is insufficient and a hole is generated in a templating product and, when exceeds 50pts.wt., the marking or labelling to the templating product becomes difficult. When the fine silica powder is below 5pts.wt., no marked effect is shown and, when exceeds 50pts.wt., the hardness of a sheet becomes high. |
