Device for burning solid state fuel in pulverized form, such as feed waste, in a furnace, which is equipped with a hearth (1) that includes a grill (2) that allows air to pass through, to which the fuel is fed, whereby the hearth (1) includes a unit (18) for transfer of secondary air to the hearth (1) which extends into and across the hearth (1), whereby the secondary air unit (18) is comprised of an outer pipe (28) to which air is driven through one end, which features an essentially concentrically mounted inner pipe (29) which is closed at the end which is positioned towards the air stream in the outer pipe and open at the opposing end, and which thereby features an air slot (30) between the pipes (28, 29) and out through the outer pipe (28) and which is connected partly to the inner pipe (28) and partly to the outer pipe (29).<IMAGE> |
