KEYBOARD CORRESPONDING TO MULTIFUNCTION

PURPOSE:To realize a keyboard array corresponding to plural functions by parallel/serial converting data and transferring it to an external data processor when the display of key switch data is controlled. CONSTITUTION:A transparent resistance films 2 are arranged on a liquid crystal display 1 and resistance wires 3 are respectively arranged in the transparent resistance films 2. The resistance wires 3 sense information of a key top 4. A display control circuit 5 and key data ROM parts 61 and 62 are provided for displaying key switch data on the liquid crystal display 1. Key switch data are stored in the key data ROM parts 61 and 62. When the resistance films 2 are depressed, data on the resistance wires 3 are fetched from a key switch protocol control part 7 as information, are converted into serial data by a parallel/serial conversion part 8 and are transmitted to the data processor. Thus, plural keyboards can be expressed on one keyboard.
