摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To keep freshness of eggplant over a long period in an excellently packaged state, by packaging an eggplant with a specific laminated film in unsealed state and packing the packaged eggplants in a case under specific condition. CONSTITUTION:An eggplant is enclosed with a laminated film having a moisture permeability of 15-200g/m<2>.24hr.40 deg.C, an oxygen permeability of 3,000-35,000cc/m<2>.24hr.atm..20 deg.C.90%RH and a carbon dioxide gas permeability of 12,000-130,000cc/m<2>.24hr/atm..20 deg.C.90%RH, containing an antifogging agent at least on one surface layer and sealable by fusion welding. The enclosure is carried out under the condition of formula [A is weight (g) of eggplants in a case; B is effective inner surface area (cm<2>) of the case] without hermetically sealing the eggplant. The packaged eggplants are packed in a case.</p>
