PURPOSE:To make a device small in size as well as to improve working efficiency by containing a driving motor for a lateral playing bed in a holder main body, and picking up control signals to the motor from outside via terminals on both sides of a machine and the holder at the time of holder set ting. CONSTITUTION:When the shank section 7 of a holder main body 2 is innerly fitted onto a spindle head 6 so as to be fixed and a pawl 6a is engaged with the receiving section of the main body 2 side, a positioning pin 10 is engaged with the inside of the engaging section 1b of a positioning member 17 for locking the turning of a housing 3 so as to let a terminal 25 abut against a terminal 29, which situation is turned into a conducting condition. A tool 5a is rotated around the axial center of the rotating spindle head 6, however the conducting condition between both a motor 21 and a pulse encoder 22 and the terminal 25 is maintained by means of sliding contact between a conducting rail 24 and a conducting element 26, the motor 21 is energized by a controller 32 for driving a lateral playing bed 5 so as to be fed transversely, consequently, the pulse of the pulse encoder 22 is operated by the controller 32 so that the position of the lateral playing bed 5 is detected. Then, the comparison with a target position is made so as to control the motor speed for completing a specified cutting automatically. The final position of the lateral playing bed 5 is memorized by the controller 32 side for exchanging a tool holder 1. |
