The invention relates to a podological shoe for climbing whose tightening system and sole make it possible to modify the size. It consists of a climbing shoe (trainer) including an upper 1 bordered at its upper part by an elastic strip 6, a sole 2 whose median zone 2b is thin in comparison with the front 2a and rear 2c zones, and a peripheral tightening means comprising a narrow piece of fabric 3, an elastic element 4 and a lace 5.
