A plastic fastener tape consists of two attachment strips (3, 4) each having a fastener back (5, 6), on which strips in each case at least two profile webs (7, 8, 12, 13) are formed which are provided with at least one hook (9, 10, 14, 15) and extend in each case perpendicular to the fastener back (5, 6). In order that such a fastener tape can only be closed in the correct manner, a continuation (18) is provided on the side of a profile web (12) facing away from the hook (14) (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
