PURPOSE:To discriminate the truth of a seal-impression efficiently and to improve a discriminating accuracy by distributing every picture element of a seal- image to be collated and a reference seal-image to one half and the other half on a screen of display means respectively to display through a dividing line on the basis of a dividing line setting data and to synthesize these seal images. CONSTITUTION:The seal impression to be collated which is shown on a check 2 is picturized by a camera device 5 and the picture data are stored in the picture memory 10 of a picture processor 7. The data for a reference seal picture corresponding to the seal impression are read out from an external memory 6 and stored in the memory 10. A CPU12 detects the positional shift between these pictures and positions both pictures by converting the coordinates of these data. When inclined angle A of the dividing line 19 is set up by the operation of an angle setting switch, the address of a mask table corresponding to the angle A is specified to read out the dividing line data and then a display circuit 18 is actuated to display a combined picture on the display means on the basis of the data for both the pictures and the dividing line setting data. The decision of the seal impression is performed by observing the coupling state of the dividing line part. |
