PURPOSE:To obtain a clear picture image having high resolution and high sharpness and contg. no fog by preventing filming of toner by using silicone resin particles with a toner. CONSTITUTION:The title developer consists of a toner having electrostatically or physically adhered fine silicon resin particles having smaller mean particle size than the mean particle size of the toner on the surface of toner particles by prepg. the toner from a mixture of a toner with said silicon resin. By using such developer, film formation of the toner on the surface of a photosensitive body is inhibited because the toner particles sticking to the surface of the photosensitive body comes into contact with the surface of the photosensitive body interposing fine silicone resin particles having less surface energy and having less adhesivity. Moreover, improved cleaning effect is obtd. in a stage of cleaning residual toner on the surface of the photosensitive body because of less adhesivity of the toner particles to the surface of the photosensitive body. Accordingly, conscientious development of an electrostatic latent image is achieved, and a picture image having high resolution and high sharpness is obtd. without causing sticking of toner to the periphery of the picture image due to insufficiency of electric charge. |
