PURPOSE:To form an image of high picture quality which is free from toner scattering, fogging, and an irregularity in development density by boring a transparent window in part of a housing and allowing the rest of a developer to be viewed, and composing the transparent window of a member which causes no frictional electrostatic discharging with a developer. CONSTITUTION:This is an image forming device such as a copying machine and a printer applied with electrophotography, the transparent window 55 is bored in part of the housing 29 to enable the rest of the developer to be viewed, and the transparent window is made of the member which causes no frictional electrostatic charging with the developer. Therefore, even if the transparent window 55 and developer enter relative motion owing to the conveyance and agitation of the developer, there is no frictional electrostatic charging caused between the transparent window 55 and developer and no developer sticks on the transparent window 55 with electrostatic force, so the inside of the window never becomes invisible and the rest of the developer can be viewed at all times. |
