<p>A precision reagent metering and delivery device (20) including a threaded, disposable reagent container (28) adapted to be threadably interconnected with a threaded base (22). The reagent container is provided with a fluid passageway (44) leading to the exterior thereof. Sealably mounted within the reagent container is a plunger (30) which is operably coupled with a stator (26) disposed in the base (22) so that rotation of the reagent container (28) relative to the base (22) will cause precisely predeterminable longitudinal movement of the plunger (30) within the reagent container (28) whereby the reagent (F) in the container will be controllably forced out the fluid passageway (44) in precisely determinable amounts.</p> |
