The subject matter of the invention is a sealed push-button switch having a sealing shroud (16) consisting of rubber-like material which is fitted on a push-button part (15) and a housing (1) of the push-button switch such that the boundary surface between the push-button part (15) and the housing (1) is protected against any ingress of foreign bodies into the push-button switch mechanism. An annular bead (16a) which is constructed on the edge of the shroud (16) is inserted into a circumferential groove (17) which is provided all round the push-button part (15) in the housing (1), and is rolled in there thermally. Since the bead (16a) is elastically compressed, the result is thus that not only can a favourable sealing effect be achieved as a result of increased contact pressure, but also improved mechanical fitting as a result of the increased resistance to forces which try to pull the bead (16a) out of the groove (17). <IMAGE>
