Portable sanders with an abrasive disc moving on a circular path (orbital sanders) are susceptible to pronounced vibrations as a result of a lack of balancing of the eccentrically moving abrasive disc. According to the invention, two identical adjustable bodies are arranged on the shaft of the portable sander, the mass centres of which are arranged symmetrically to the axis of symmetry connecting the shaft axis and the rotational axis eccentric to it. These adjustable bodies can in particular be eccentric adjusting rings. They form part of a counterweight, the action of which can be precisely adjusted to the out-of-balance to be compensated by changing the position of these bodies. <IMAGE> |
