PLANOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent planographic printing plate which has less scumming by an ordinary planograpic printing method by providing a hydrophilic surface forming layer contg. a material which develops hydrophilicity when projected with chemically active rays onto an electrophotographic photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:This planographic printing plate material is capable of plate making by forming a toner image thereon by an electrophotographic method, then exposing the entire surface with the active rays to impart the hydrophilic property to the surface of the non-image part. Said material is constituted by forming the electrophotographic photosensitive layer 2 on the surface of a conductive and water-resistant base 1 and forming the hydrophilic surface forming layer 3 which can be imparted with the hydrophilic property by projection of the chemically active rays. The printing plate having the image part coated with a lipophilic toner and the surface of the non-image part imparted with the hydrophilic property at a high degree is thereby obtd. after the end of the plate making process. The good printed matter having no scumming is thus obtd. by the ordinal planographic printing method.
