I/O MODULE CONTROL SYSTEM

An I/O module control system for controlling the data transfer of I/O modules used for the PMC (programmable machine controller). Data for interchanging high-order bytes and low-order bytes are included in an allocating table (5a) to convert the word structure for data transfer from the I/O modules (6, 7) to the RAM (4) or the like. Since high-order bytes and low-order bytes are interchanged, any I/O module designed for the word structure adapted for one processor can be directly coupled to a system that is constituted using another processor.
