A pressure disc (1) for a flexible driver plate (3) which is arranged between an engine shaft (4) and an input member (5) of a gearbox has holes (12) distributed uniformly on the circumference at a defined diameter (18) close to the central bore (11). Bolts (2) are used to fasten a driver plate (3) to the front end of an engine shaft (4), the contact pressure being applied via the bolt heads (21) and the pressure disc (1). For this purpose, the cross-section (15) of the pressure disc has a defined configuration. In particular, it is thickened to such an extent to the outside of the bolt heads (21) that the pressure at the pressure surface is similar in this area during operation to that in the area of the bolt heads (21). In addition, the pressure surface (14) can be of conical configuration, so that the prestress outside the area of the bolt heads (21) is initially slightly greater. A ring of more flexible material can furthermore be inserted close to the outside diameter of the pressure disc or the pressure disc can be provided with a wavy outside diameter which follows the bolt heads. <IMAGE>
