Device for transferring classified objects to different removing means, in which a relatively light vertical pipe section inside the conveying path which guides the classified objects serves as a test-signal-dependently controlled switch, which pipe section is, for example, cardanically mounted at its one end and, at its free end, can be connected positively and in a frictionally engaged manner with one of at least three switching positions in which it corresponds with corresponding removing paths. For this purpose, use is made of electromagnetically actuated slide valves, via which the end, which faces away, of the pipe section can be moved from an adopted switching position into a new switching position in which the pipe section is held by a locking pin which is centrally mounted so as to be capable of moving up and down. The switching positions are preferably determined by the corners of a cutout which forms, in cross-section, an equilateral triangle and into which the free end of the pipe section projects while the assigned removing means opens into the region of every corner, cf.
