An outlet aperture (24) is formed in the cap which is opened and closed by a valve member (25) operated by relative rotation of the cap and container against a biasing spring (27) which urges the valve member into the closed position. The cap/container assembly contains a wick (19) soaked in an aromatic liquid the vapour of which is released to atmosphere from the container when the valve is open.
