PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can give a vulcanized product excellent in heat resistance, low-temperature resistance and water resistance and useful as a material for rubber belts, by mixing a specified chlorosulfonated ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer with a hydrotalcite, a thiuram and a maleimide. CONSTITUTION:An ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer of an ethylene/alpha-olefin ratio of 98/2-60/40 is chlorinated and chlorosulfonated to obtain a chlorosulfonated ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer (A) of a chlorine content of 25-32wt.% and a sulfur content of 0.3-2.5wt.%. 100pts.wt. component A is mixed with 10-35pts. wt. hydrotalcite (B) as an acid binding agent, 0.5-5pts.wt. thiuram (C) as a vulcanization accelerator and 0.5-5pts.wt. maleimide (D) as a vulcanization accelerator or an antioxidant. |
