PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can give a composite damping steel sheet excellent in damping performance near room temperature, bondability, heat resistance and lamination processability, by mixing a specified saturated copolymer polyester with a polyisocyanate compound. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic and/or aliphatic dibasic acid (i) is reacted with a glycol (residue-forming derivative) (ii) to obtain a saturated copolymer polyester (a) of a weight-average MW>=5,000, a softening point [R & B softening point (JIS-K-2531)] of 50-150 deg.C and preferably containing 30-90mol.% terephthalic acid residue, based on the acid component, and 30-80mol.% ethylene glycol residues, based on the glycol component. Component (a) is dissolved in a solvent and 0.5-20 equivalents, per equivalent of the OH groups of component (a), of a polyisocyanate compound (b) (e.g., methylene-bis-4-phenyl isocyanate) as a crosslinking agent is added to the solution. |
