A foam plastic article is fixed together with an attachment by means of fasteners, in the process a number of fasteners are arranged on a plate which is then placed in a mould which partly receives the fasteners, the plate is next encapsulated in foam and demoulded. The attachment is fixed on to the fasteners whose ends are bent over or riveted. ADVANTAGE - The components are fixed together in the simplest way with minimum operations.
