PURPOSE:To attain the correct horizontal deflection raster right/left distortion correction with a simple constitution by giving a voltage obtained by rectifying a horizontal deflection output and a voltage including the waveform of a vertical deflection period, which is a reference, to an operational amplifier and adding the output to a modulating circuit. CONSTITUTION:The output of a horizontal output transformer 14 is peak-value- rectified by a rectifying circuit 30. A ripple voltage Vr at both edges of a smooth capacitor 16 is added to an operational amplifier 8. The waveform of a vertical deflection period V from a waveform shaping circuit 6, for example, a parabolic waveform Vpb, an output Vo is added to a saturable reactor 50 of a horizontal amplitude modulating circuit 5. For this reason, for the ripple voltage Vr and a reference parabolic waveform Vpb', the circuit as a whole is operated so that the waveform can be coincident. Consequently, when the amplitude of the waveform Vpb' is adjusted, the amplitude of the envelope waveform of a horizontal deflection coil current Iy can be also adjusted and the horizontal deflection coil current can be suitably modulated. |
