In the case of plastics injection moulding machines, the workpieces are usually ejected with the mould opened and are dropped and fall onto a conveyor device. The workpieces are subsequently stacked. With certain workpiece shapes, the subsequent stacking is difficult. It is proposed to remove the workpieces from the mould in an ordered manner, specifically using a first conveyor device which is driven by the movable plate of the injection moulding machine and which receives the workpieces when the mould is open. The workpieces are then transferred to a second conveyor device outside the mould which conveys the workpieces further.
