PURPOSE:To perform switching operation only in two processes and to facilitate the switching operation by matching cores in the connection state of connectors. CONSTITUTION:One of optical connectors 4c and 4d fitted to an optical component 3 is set opposite one of optical connectors 4a and 4b of an in-use optical line 1 in the connection state, and the other optical connector 4c or 4d and an optical connector 4e connected to a switching optical line 2 are set opposite the other connector 4a or 4b; and the optical connectors 4a and 4b of the in-use optical line 1 among the optical connectors 4a-4e are disconnected and the optical connector 4a of the in-use optical line 1, the optical connector 4d fitted to the optical component 3, and the optical connector 4b of the in-use optical line 1 and the optical connector 4c fitted to the optical component 3 are connected. In this connection state, the cores are matched, and then the optical connectors 4a and 4d, and 4b and 4c are disconnected and the optical connector 4a of the in-use optical line 1 and the optical connector 4e of the switching optical line 2 are connected. Thus, the operation is facilitated. |
