There is described a cushion for preventing snoring which comprises an electronic system with a low-pass filter and a band-pass filter by which a snoring sound is identified and transformed into electrical energy. This energy drives a motor which induces a housing covering to execute upward and downward movements because the housing covering is provided with toothed wheels which rotate together with the motor. The height and inclination of the cushion is thereby changed and as a result the position of the head of the user is changed and snoring is stopped.
