PURPOSE:To hold a recording material with no interposition of dust or the like between the recording material and its holding surface by providing a number of recessed parts fully over the recording material holding surface of a stage. CONSTITUTION:A recording material 34, inserted in its both side parts in a clearance 46, is fed on a stage 38 and stopped in a predetermined position. Next by a vacuum pump 42, a negative pressure is supplied to a groove 44 through a suction hole 36C and an opening 36B. The recording material 34, generating a differential pressure between its obverse and reverse sides by this negative pressure, is sucked to be closely attached onto the stage 38. Here a dust or the like, even when it is inserted interposing between the recording material 34 and the stage 38, is sucked into the groove 44, accordingly the recording material 34 is prevented from being closely attached to the stage 38 in a condition that the dust is interposed between the recording material 34 and the stage 38. Accordingly, the recording material 34 can be sucked and held being prevented from rising up and deteriorating in its flatness. |
