A swirl-type pump comprises a piston pump with a pump plunger which can be thrust manually into the pump cylinder against the force of a restoring spring, an upstroke valve and a pressure valve, both of which open in the direction of delivery of the medium, and an atomizing nozzle connected to the pressure valve in the direction of delivery of the medium. The pump described permits the expulsion of air and high pressure build-up of the medium to be delivered, and is leakproof. For this purpose, a tappet (17) is arranged on the sealing element (10) of the upstroke valve (3) facing the pressure valve (7). The pressure valve (7) when the upstroke valve (3) is closed and the pump plunger (5) is forced into the pump cylinder. |
