摘要 PURPOSE:To form a prescribed underlying layer much thinner than the conventional underlying layer and to improve the solvent resistance of a substrate so that the higher recording and reproducing characteristics are obtd. by coating and forming said underlying layer on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:The underlying layer consisting of a mixture composed of a high-polymer compsn. contg. 10-70wt.% monomer, oligomer and polymer components contg. a hydroxyl group or carboxyl group and having a radiation polymn. mechanism and alkoxide, phenoxide or chelate compd. consisting of any among Al, Ti, Si, Zr, In, Zn, Mg, Ni or Cu is applied and formed between the substrate and an optical recording layer. The crosslinking reaction by dealcoholization condensation takes place in addition to the radiation polymn. of the high-polymer compsn. and the extremely thin underlying layer having insolubility and imperviousness to org. dye coating solvents is formed. The optical information recording medium which is extremely thin and has the excellent solvent resistance as well as recording and reproducing characteristics is thereby obtd.
