PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the load of a single crystal rod, which is lifted with wire rope, by using a strain gage, by making the partial shape of the cross section of a guide groove, with which the base end part of the wire rope is engaged, approximately equal to the semi-circle of a circle in contact with the wire rope externally. CONSTITUTION:The base end part of wire rope is wound and engaged with a guide groove 40. Of the shape PQRST of the cross section of the groove 40, QRS at the bottom part is a semi-circle. The diameter of the semi-circle is approximately equal to a diameter D of a circumscribed circle 50. When a base plate 10 is rotated, the wire rope 38 is delayed from said rotation. Thereafter the distance between a center C of the rope and a central bottom point R of the groove 40 is approximately constant in a discontinuous manner. Therefore, a crystal rod 48 is not lowered quickly even by a slight amount. The rope 38 is not swayed due to the deflected rotation of the rod 38 and the rotary speed is not disturbed. In this way, the load of the single crystal rod 48, which is lifted with the rope 38, can be accurately measured by using a strain gage not based on the rotary angle of the rope 38. |
