<p>PURPOSE:To designate a position and an area on a picture without degrading the precision even in case of reduction display of picture data by using a positioning form, on which marks are entered in prescribed positions, at the time of coordinate positioning operation. CONSTITUTION:A positioning form 7 is put on a prescribed mark position of a tablet, and the center of a positioning mark 8 is designated with a mouse 2, and the positioning form 7 is matched to and put in a prescribed mark position of a scanner 3 after designation of marks in four corners is terminated, and the picture on the form 7 is inputted. After instructing the scanner 3 to input the picture, a personal computer extracts center coordinates of marks 8 at the time of storing picture data in an extended memory board. A conversion formula is calculated in accordance with coordinates of four points designated on the tablet 1 and mark coordinates of the picture inputted through the scanner 3. Thus, since a desired position or area is designated on a document even in case of reduction display of picture data, it is designated with a high precision.</p> |
