Syringe comprises a barrel with a needle hub and holding a piston mounted on a stem interlocked to the stem by an attachment providing a relative displacement of the stem end w.r.t. the piston on all advance and retract movements of the stem. An auxiliary element is slidable in the barrel in one direction only to move by a fixed amount on each actuation of the piston, and is associated at its ends with the piston and stem, the relative movement reaching an end position in which the syringe can no longer be operated.
