The invention relates to a new process for the manufacture of solid therapeutical preparations containing a combination of collagen and an anti-infectious agent derived from imidazole, as well as to their use in the treatment of periodontal conditions. In the process according to the invention, the following successive operations are carried out: <.> a predetermined quantity of at least one imidazole derivative is dissolved in demineralised water, <.> a predetermined quantity of undenatured fibrous collagen is dispersed in the solution thereby obtained, and <.> the dispersion thereby obtained is lyophilised.
