The bearing spigots on the cross head of a universal coupling are located by needle bearings (15) inside a bearing bush (11). The inner end of the bearing is provided with an internal ring groove (23) of rectangular cross section. An elastic main seal (16), with two internal sealing lips (19), has a metallic support ring (22) which is retained by the internal housing ring groove (23). A secondary seal ring (17) with radially flexible jaws (24, 25), is also retained by the bearing bush ring groove (23). |
