PURPOSE:To ensure brake liquid pressure for both front and rear wheels even upon missing of power liquid d pressure by providing an auxiliary liquid pressure controller. CONSTITUTION:In a brake liquid pressure controller 1, a regulator 30 is disabled upon missing of power liquid pressure due to interruption of a power liquid pressure source 40 and does not provide predetermined brake liquid pressure thus blocking first and second pressure chambers 7a, 7b in an auxiliary liquid pressure controller 7. Since brake liquid is filled in the second and third pressure chambers 7b, 7c while the regulator 30 communicated with the third pressure chamber 7c is blocked from the power liquid pressure source 40 through a check valve 36, an enclosed chamber is formed in the downstream. Consequently, a piston 9 is pushed with brake liquid pressure in the master cylinder 10 which is provided to the first pressure chamber 7a and responds to a brake pedal 2, to boost brake liquid pressure in the second and third pressure chambers 7b, 7c thus providing a function just like as a tandem master cylinder. |
