PURPOSE:To keep intervals of broken lines approximately constant and to perform quick drawing by multiplying the length of the inclined part of a broken line by the cosine of the angle of inclination to correct the length and drawing the broken line subjected to length correction by a DDA circuit. CONSTITUTION:A broken line pattern is transferred from a register 1 to a shift register 2 and is discriminated by a '0' and '1' discriminating circuit 3, and the number of '0's is counted by a counter 4 and the number of '1's is counted by a counter 5 to calculate the length of each part of the broken line pattern, and the length of each part is inputted to a multiplier 7 and the cosine costheta of an angle theta of inclination of a drawing vector is inputted from a table means 8 to the multiplier 7, and they are multiplied to correct the length in accordance with the angle theta of inclination. A count clock generator 9 generates clocks whose number is subjected to length correction, and the output of these clocks and the signal inputted from the side of a multiplexer 10 are superposed one over the other, and a corrected drawing pattern is generated on a shift register 11 as the pattern to the actually drawn. Thus, quick drawing is performed. |
