PURPOSE:To improve the security protection of picture information by constituting a device so that input of an accurate password and setting of a correct floppy disk are required for retrieval of picture information which is registered with security protected. CONSTITUTION:At the time of retrieving picture information, first specific data inputted from a specific data input part 4 and first specific data stored in a freely attachable and detachable storage medium 5 are compared with each other by a setting part 6, and the setting part 6 sets second specific data, which is stored in the storage medium 5 correspondingly to the first specific data, as a part of retrieval information. Thus, retrieval of picture information registered with security protected is permitted only when a correct floppy disk 5 is set and the password stored on the set floppy disk 5 is correctly inputted from a keyboard. Consequently, the security protection of picture information is very improved. |
