PURPOSE:To make it possible to efficiently remove volatile substances by a simple structure, by constituting an apparatus with a cyclone and a volatile substance removing tower where a receiving opening from the cyclone is set on its top, a central cylindrical part where solid pellets and a mixed liquid are brought into contact with each other is provided and a taking-out opening is set on its bottom. CONSTITUTION:A cyclone 1 has a receiving opening 11 for solid pellets passed through a solid pellet feeding pipe 3, a delivering opening 12 and a gas exhausting opening 13 for air, inert gas, steam and the like. An upper conical part 21 of a volatile substance removing tower 2 is communicated with the solid pellet delivering opening 12 of the cyclone 1. A receiving opening 24 is located at the top end and solid pellets moving downward and a mixed fluid such as inert gas, steam and the like moving upward are countercurrently brought into contact with each other in a central cylindrical part 22. The tower 2 also has a level detector 25 detecting the piled level of the solid pellets. Eight mixed fluid introducing parts 26 for introducing mixed fluid are located on the side wall of a lower reverse conical part 23 and a solid pellet taking-out opening 27 is located at the bottom. |
