<p>PURPOSE:To readily shield a magnetic encoder against leakage magnetic flux by forming a rotor yoke to surround a rotor magnet, securing a magnetic recording medium thereto, and disposing a magneto-resistance effect element which is shielded oppositely to the medium. CONSTITUTION:A rotor yoke 7 of a motor is formed to surround a rotor magnet 6, and a magnetic recording medium 15' is secured thereto. A magneto-resistance effect element 10' is disposed oppositely to the medium 15'. A magnetic unit 25 is disposed on the element 10', thereby shielding a motor against leakage magnetic flux.</p> |
