PURPOSE:To reduce the number of power source lines and to reduce production of heat, by branching a data line laid from a transmitting side device to a receiving side device in the receiving side device and employing it as a power source for the circuitry in the receiving side device. CONSTITUTION:A reset line 3 has normally H level(e.g. +5V) and temporarily brought to L level(e.g. 0V) only when CPU2 is reset. This H level is employed as a power source (b) at side B of device. Since this H level is produced through a regulator at side A of device, no regulator is required for power source (b) at side B of device nor power source lines to be used exclusively for device B are required between the devices A and B. |
