PRINT EFFECT MEASURING INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE:To realize the absolute evaluation of print effects by digitizing and displaying the density change value (print effect) of a printed matter. CONSTITUTION:An image controller 4 decomposes the density of a reflected image caught by a CCD 2-dimensional camera 2 into the desired levels for each point and then digitizes these levels. This digitized data is sent to a personal computer 5 and this computer 5 differentiates image data. The sum total of said differentiation is outputted to a CRT 6 or a printer 7. In other words, the changing degrees of the gradation of the printed matter 1 are digitized and displayed in the form of the numerical value. Thus the quality of the print effect can be absolutely evaluated.
