<p>PURPOSE: To provide a vegetable storage container which exhibits an excellent cold reserving effect and in which no dew condensation occurs by tightly closing the opening of the container enclosing a heat insulating material and a heat storage material in its wall with a cap body provided with a moisture permeable film. CONSTITUTION: A storage container 9 for vegetable is constituted of a container 10 having an opening on its top and a cap body 11 which tightly closes the opening. The low-temperature fresh reserving ability of the container 10 is improved by enclosing a cold storage material 15 in the space of a double wall 12 composed of an outer wall 13 and an inner wall 14 and a heat insulating material 16 in the spaces of the outer wall 13 of the double wall 12 and the bottom wall 17 of the container 10. The cap body 11, on the other hand, is provided with a moisture permeable film 19 which is formed by laminating a silicon thin film 21 and hydrophilic nylon fibers 22 upon another and welded to one surface of a plate 18 having many through holes formed correspondingly to the inside space of the internal wall 14 of the container so as to prevent the occurrence of dew condensation in the container by discharging excessive moisture to the outside. Therefore, vegetables can be preserved for a long period without giving any damage to them.</p> |
