<p>PURPOSE:To position a commodity transfer device at a high speed and with high accuracy by detecting the position shift of a commodity holding part with the output of a sensor after positioning the transfer device and at the same time measuring and holding the correction value of said position shift so that the shifted position information is corrected by said correction value. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 4 attached at a commodity holing part 3 detects the position shift caused by an attachment error, etc., and a control part 5 measures the correction value of the position shift. This correction value is held for correction of the subsequent shifted position information. Thus the position shift caused by an attachment error, etc., can be corrected. At the same time, no measurement processing is carried out with the sensor 4 after measurement of the correction value. Then a commodity transfer device is performed at a high speed and with high accuracy.</p> |
