<p>PURPOSE:To enable the easy manipulation of a controlled appliance, by counting the number of times of manipulation of a key switch by an operating person, and by controlling the appliance when the counted number has reached a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:In application to a car radio, a control section 6 is energized through a flip-flop 61 as a result of the closing of a key switch 21 by an operating person and the number of times of manipulation of the key switch is stored in a memory 60. The number of times of manipulation of the key switch 21 is compared with switch-on values stored in a prescribed area in the memory 60, to judge which function should be fulfilled. If the number of times of the manipulation is three, radio station selection is effected. If the number is four, frequency band changeover is effected. In these cases, prescribed sounds are emitted from a loudspeaker 9 through the action of a sound synthesis circuit 8 to manipulate the car radio after making a response to the sounds.</p> |
